Americare Institute is approved and accredited by the following agencies:

• Illinois State Board of Education
• Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation
• U.S Department of Education (code 041247)

  Americare is also one of the few private schools that received full accreditation by the North Central Association Commission Accreditation on School Improvement (see NCA CASI accredited schools in Illinois).

Types of North Central Association of Colleges and Schools (NCA) Accreditation

1. Commission and Accreditation and School Improvement (CASI)
CASI accredits elementary and secondary schools as well as non-degree-granting postsecondary schools. Americare is accredited by this commission because we are a non-degree postsecondary school.

2. Higher Learning Commission (HLC)
HLC accredits degree-granting colleges and universities. Community colleges such as College of Dupage, Elgin Community College, Harper College are accredited by this commission.
