All new students entering NUR 101 must attend a mandatory orientation to receive important program policies and updates. Students must make arrangements to be available the entire day.

ATI Retesting Schedule Fall 2010

Below is the retesting schedule for students already in the LPN program for the remainder of 2010. If you plan on travelling in between semesters, make sure you schedule your travel plans around these dates.

Exams will begin promptly at 10:00 AM. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to the test time for seating and logging in to the website.

NOTE: You may ONLY retest during the established retesting schedule. If you test with students in a course for which you are not enrolled:

• Your score will be invalid as you will have taken the wrong exam. The retest is a different version of the exam than the one administered during the course.
• You will be charged for the exam as we must now order a new one for students enrolled in the course.

How to Sign up
To ensure there are enough testing stations, you MUST click on the specific event to SIGN UP for the retesting session. If you miss a testing session because you did not sign up, you will need to wait until the next term to retest. Click here to sign up.

NOTE: You must login first to My Americare in order to sign up.

If this is your third testing attempt, you must also email cbuscar@americare.edu so that a new exam can be ordered for you.

Final preparations are being made for registration to begin next week on the upgraded Web Registration system. One of the new features allows you to view your registration eligibility before registration begins. Please follow the steps in the document below to check your status and report any issues by Friday, August 6th:

Download a copy of the Pre-requisite schedule for Fall 2010 Semester.

1. If you have not taken and passed a college level course, you will be required to pass a reading placement test before you are permitted to register for any pre-requisite courses.
2. If you want to sign up for the Math course, you are required to take a math placement exam. 
3. If you are interested in taking the English course, you will also need to pass a writing placement test.
   
   To sign up for one of these placement tests, please call our Schaumburg office at (847)397-0300.

• All applicants must complete an application for admission and pay the one-time fee of $25.
• A $25 registration fee is required every semester.
• A deposit of $200 is required at the time of registration for the Math, English, Psychology, and Computer courses.
• The C.N.A program requires a $300 deposit. 
• To make payments or to complete your registration process for the pre-requisite courses, please visit our Schaumburg location.
• Please note that your seat will not be reserved until all necessary deposits and paperwork have been completed.
