CNA certification is a necessary requirement for entrance into the Pre-Requisite and LPN programs as it sets a basis of knowledge for the following courses at Americare, as well as the healthcare field.
The Americare CNA Program is approved by the Illinois Board of Higher Education (IBHE) and the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR), an
agency that oversees all nursing programs in the state of Illinois.
NURSING 100: Basic Nursing Assistant Training
This course provides students with knowledge and skills necessary to
properly meet the basic needs of patient such as: bathing, feeding,
making beds, measuring and recording food and liquid intake, recording
vital signs, collecting and testing urine specimens, etc. |
